Saturday Market, July 25, 2009

Wow! An actual almost-hot summer day! People couldn't believe it. Farmers actually got some haying done. Market goers wandered about in a sunshine induced reverie. Well, I guess summer is finally here-and not a moment too soon-It's near time to think about getting the wood stove ready to fire.
Here are some pix courtesy of Uncle Jon, late of Hollywood, California.

Saturday Market, July 18, 2009

Great weather, huge happy crowd-What could be better? We had groups from S.I.T in attendance, including Iraqi students practicing their English and soaking in some Vermont culture. I sold quite a few Russian teacakes to this group-must have been an exotic taste to them. Also explained the intricacies of Whoopie Pies.

She's the cutest.

Saturday Market, July 11, 2009

This had to be the most perfect Vermont day to be at Market. Someone pointed out, and I must agree, that Market is a place of widespread happiness.

Met some visitors from Lon-Gyland, by way of early years in Jersey-We waxed poetic on the things we don't miss about the Garden State. We did agree, though, that the shore and good pizza are things we do miss from our days in Sopranoville. Badda Bing. RS
