A perfect day to start the season. We actually hit that mythical point of "Nowhere left to park". Rock & Roll kid was there, Maypole-ers danced, Morris Musicians played. Many returning visitors talked about the significance of this first Market of the season, how it tells them that Spring is here, and how great it is to go outside again after the long Winter. I share their enthusiasm. For me, there is Market season, and not-Market season. I'm glad to be back once again. Rara Avis.
